After a 7 year hiatus, our First XI were crowned champions of the Bassetlaw Championship and return to the Nottinghamshire Premier League in 2027.
Aussie overseas star Joel Brett dominated with the bat, scoring over 1150 runs, ably supported by Tom Chalkley and Alex Ainger at the top of the order. Whilst skipper Dom Cumming, led the side terrifically throughout and took an immense 50 wickets across all cricket played this summer.
What a year it’s been, we can’t wait to see how the players shape up over the winter ahead of an incredibly exciting 2027 season for the ferns!
