Seniors

We run four senior teams across open-age cricket: three Saturday sides competing in the Bassetlaw Cricket League, a Sunday Development XI and T20 team.

1st XI
Competing in the Bassetlaw Cricket League – Championship Division, the 1st XI
will again be pushing for promotion to the Nottinghamshire Premier League. With
a young, talented squad, the team continues to go from strength to strength.

2nd XI
Our 2nd XI compete in Division 1 of the Bassetlaw Cricket League, providing competitive cricket at a high standard.

3rd XI
Following promotion in 2025 — their second consecutive promotion — the 3rd XI will play in Division 3 of the Bassetlaw Cricket League.

Sunday Development XI
Designed to support player development and enjoyment of the game, offering opportunities for players of varying experience.

Cup competitions & Honours
In 2026, the club will compete in:
– National Village Cup
– Popkess County Cup
– Mallen T20 Trophy

Recent successes include:
Popkess County Cup Runners-Up (2024) – narrowly defeated by Wollaton CC
Current holders of the Mallen T20 Trophy
ECB Northern Regional T20 Plate Champions 2025

At the start of the 2026 season, we will contest the ECB National T20 Plate Final against Waltham CC. This is the rearranged 2025 final at Wormsley CC which was abandoned due to rain.
